I am using a new HP mini now :)
Didn't know that I would come back to Windows one day.
I am just still in love with Apple Macbooks so much.
But most Apple laptops are heavy and expensive.
So don and I decided to give HP mini a try.
I like everything about my new small laptop. The price (299+tax), the system (XP,, seems faster than 7.0.. even though I imagined to play with snow leopard), the design (good keyboard!), and esp. the light weighted design (10 inches). Just wish it had a longer battery life. (3 hours for now)
I originally wanted to get a Toshiba for 9+ hours battery life after searching the Internet. However, I didn't like Toshiba 110's appearance plus we couldn't find it in stock in BestBuy, in Sam's Club, in Office Depot.... And we are not sure if Windows 7.0 is stable enough on these small laptops or not.
I've tried installing programs I often use when writing my dissertation proposal and other research projects. One thing I really hate about Windows is: When trying to edit a folder name, it always gives me a very loud and annoy and ugly "BEEP" and blames me on having another window with the files open. Not very smart program. Now I miss my Apple. :)
But wish me a good time with this small HP writing my dissertation proposal and dissertation in the library!
